With the aim of making it easier for people with diverse mobility needs living or visiting New York's Upper West Side, Local Friendly is excited to bring you the Local Friendly iOS App.
Downloading the Local Friendly App
To download the Local Friendly App, follow these steps:
- Click on "Download on the App Store" badge above.
- Press the "Get" button next to the Local Friendly App.
- Download and install.
- Once downloaded, tap open the Local Friendly App and start searching.
What is the Local Friendly App?
Local Friendly is a volunteer built map app of doorway information ranging from ramps, door-type, steps and staircases - from the perspective of the pedestrian.
Many of us at some point will have a change in mobility. Local Friendly aims to make it easier for users to keep enjoying the services in the Upper West Side, as well as find new places that they feel are convenient for them.
